Day Drinking at Airports is a one-movement composition by Vienna based composer Mario Bergamasco. The piece is centred around field recordings made at Vienna and Naples airports.  Bergamassco connects various cultural practices in Naples and Austria with the non-place of the airport and asks how we find ourselves in cultural fields of tension, how much these constructs contribute to the formation of our own identity and where these ties come from.
