28.12.24 | Pinhole photography workshop | Darkroom Setzkasten Hernalser Hauptstrasse 29

This time, we will craft our own pinhole cameras using simple, everyday materials. We will then shoot and develop the pictures in the darkroom, learning about this old-school and truly unique way of capturing images. No prior experience is required.

The workshop runs for around 4 hours and includes all materials needed to build your camera and develop your first photographs (if you have a little box, that you want to repurpose, you are most welcome to bring it). Please wear comfortable and warm clothes that you don’t mind getting slightly dirty. You’ll take home both your handmade camera and the photographs you create.

What to expect:

• Learning anout history and science of pinhole photography
• Step-by-step guidance in building your own functional camera
• Hands-on experiencein a darkroom

All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own objects to photograph. Date: 28 December,  2024
