Beim Kastenkonzert #7 sind 3 Solokonzerte zu erleben. Neben dem Wiener Saxophonisten Markus Krispel darf der Setzkasten zwei internationale Gäste willkommen heißen. Ido Bukelman an der Gitarre und Marco Quaresimin, der in seinem Solo Sonde I eine Soundmassage am Publikum durchführen wird.

Markus Krispel

Mit dem Saxophon, seinem Hauptinstrument, spielt er als Improvisierender Musiker in verschiedensten Konstellationen, wie auch Solo – Konzerte mit Interesse an der Kombination der ’sonischen‘ Erkundung des Instrumentes in Bezug auf die akustischen Gegebenheiten des jeweiligen Raumes, seiner Resonanz und der gegebenen Aufmerksamkeit der Hörer.

Sein Interesse liegt an der kontinuierlichen Entwicklung flexibler, harmonischer Intuition und rhythmischer Vielseitigkeit.

Beweglichkeit, Einflüsse aus unterschiedlichen Musikkulturen und Zeiten, intensiver Kontakt mit ‚Sounds‘ im allgemeinen und die physische, materialistische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Instrument nähren seine tägliche Praxis.

Ido Bukelman

Ido Bukelman is an Israeli (based in Berlin) guitar and banjo player, composer-improviser, whose work
combines elements of modern music, folk, and free jazz. Ido Bukelman very active in the Israeli „new music“ scene for the past 10 years. Ido played a large number of solo concerts in different international festivals and venues.

Until today Ido has released more than ten albums under my name, four of them – Solo acoustic guitar.

Marco Quaresimin
Sonde I – for double bass and public laying on the floorMarco Quaresimin solo works are focused on relations between sound, time, space and movement. He has been playing solo concerts since 2011, exploring different forms, from free improvisation to graphic scores, from free jazz-like
explosions of energy to very calm and contemplating minimalistic long form. He has performed in Italy and France in theaters, art galleries and open-air events. His new performances are based on the balance between continuum sound
and constant micro variations, with a specific focus on breath. They are sensory experiences which explores the visceral quality of the sound with the listener, opening up a communication between the resonance in our human bodies and the vibrations of the space.
