and now
//Johanna Nielson & Marina Poleukhina
The experience of a flow of sculptures of voices of sounds of movements. This duo tasted blood and they want more. Experimental, transparent and sensible, yet strong and sometimes irritating are the stories they create life and in the moment. Into spaces, that become a shared playground with the audience, for the awkward, the amusing and the love for details.
Johanna Nielson is a dance- and performanceartist, who lives and works in Vienna. Her practice involves dance and voice with a focus on improvisation and phenomena of the sensual. In collaborations she works on a series of performative experiments dealing with mechanisms of translation and perception, exploring the interplay of (experimental) music and dance. www.johannanielson.com
Marina Poleukhina is composer and improviser. The focus of her artistical attention lies in an interdisciplinary work. Her music unite a creation of a world that goes beyond only sounds. It connects movement, light, video projections on unusual surfaces, manipulation of ordinary devices that make them become instruments, objects that create their own space. This evolves into new and unexplored acoustical situations of an intense complexity. A territory made of crossroads of genres.

ISENTROPIC live AV Performance
Patch improvised modular synthesizer performance, visualized by RGB diode laser
// Bernhard Rasinger aka BR Laser
White noise is a type of acoustic signal that is characterized by having equal amount of energy across all frequencies in a specific spectrum. As such, it contains the most information about this spectrum. If you apply this character to the human hearing spectrum, it is a way of hearing all the frequencies, thus all the information at once.
For the Isentropic laser sound performance the noise will be the basic material to form the sound sculptures that live within this noise.
Bernhard Rasinger is an engineer, visual sound artist and cofounder of the art association NewJörg Vienna. He is a regular guest at international experimental music festivals, music fairs and soldering workshops. Performances include Ars Electonica in Linz, Superbooth in Berlin, Modular Days Barcelona, Machines in Music in New York, Gigamodular Tokyo and Skanu Mezs Riga. Recent appearance at Process Festival 2023 Riga within Cinema Expanded.Collaborations with other artists include Owen Armour, Richard Devine, Vaclav Pelousek, Anna Samsoe, Robert Henke, Anna Sircova, Hrtl, Kikkimore Collective, Denshikaimen, Lukas König, Mopcut, Phillip Haffner, Dorian Concept, Jacqnoise, Coast2c

Parallax
// Torstein Lavik Larsen – trumpet
// Are Lothe Kolbeinsen – guitar
// Ulrik Ibsen Thorsrud – percussion
Parallax is a Norwegian improv/contemporary trio with an open approach to improvisation. They draw on a broad range of influences in their music – jazz, folk, electroacoustic, minimalism and noise. Through the use of extended techniques and found objects they seek to eliminate the traditional roles of different acoustic instruments, and explore the fringe areas of music. One of their methods is acoustic simulation of electronic sounds, and this focus on role reversal and «sound-as-music» is very important in developing their sonic identity, and an integral part of all their activities.
They have toured festivals and clubs in 20 countries, released 8 records, 3 video works, several commissioned works and done a number of collaborations and projects with artists all over the world, within different genres and directions – sinfonietta, performers in classical Chinese music, Japanese koto – and shamisen players, dancers, composers, visual artists and with field-recordings. Parallax as a musical lab explores the difference and tension between perspectives, both in the concrete and on an idea level: They observe/contemplate the same object or thought, but all have individual experiences and draw different conclusions based on the same impression.
