For example, the Photonotron—an optical theremin that lets you create sounds ranging from retro to chaotic. Or the ATtiny Punk Console, which can be reprogrammed over and over again using an audio signal. Also on hand is the 10-voice LevitationOSC—a drone synthesizer with a wide range of sounds and functions—as well as a few other kits from the noisio travel case…

Steffen Koritsch a.k.a noisio is a trained electronics technician, a college-educated artist, a musician, and an enthusiastic DIYer, and has been touring festivals, museums, clubs, and makerspaces for several years. He designs his kits so that even beginners can build one of these instruments themselves on the spot in no time.

Jena Jang (born Yeaeun Jang) is a South Korean experimental musician, audio-visual artist, and DIY instrument builder based between Seoul and Prague. Their practice merges harsh noise, improvised vocals, drone, and custom electronics into raw, physical performances that explore emotion, transformation, and the boundaries between human and non-human realms. Beyond live performance, they collaborate with instrument companies such as Error Instruments, Noisio, and Blipbox while continuously developing original circuit designs.
